My Dad arrived on Friday. I used the same airline 2 month ago so I was pretty sure to know where to pick him up. I live just 20 minutes away from the airport so I left my place when the plane touched down. I got a parking directly in front of the right terminal ... and then I realized ... the airline moved to a brand new terminal ...FAR AWAY from where I was.
So I had to go to the departure level because this was the only level with access to the new terminal J .... and after arrving there go up again to the arrival level.
Dad was already there ... talking to a guy from the airport. One moment? My Dad was talking to an American! My dad does not speak a word English.
With the help of some other tourist he managed to explain to that guy that he was waiting for me ... and right now he was in the process to provide my cell phone number to call me.
When he saw me everyone was relieved and we made our way back to the civilization where I picked up my car and drove him home.
Saturday we went shopping. First I had to change a tire ... and after that we made a quick stop at Walmart. Exhausted from the shopping we stopped at a Chinese "all-you-can-eat buffet where we had a late lunch.
Today we spent some time in the appartment and in the afternoon we hung out at the pool ....
